"Reflections of Docklands " by Muge Aydin -was inspired during my lunchtime walks through Melbourne’s Docklands. I’m always drawn to the views and the unique atmosphere—modern architecture, sharp lines, and the way the city seems to shift depending on where you stand.
One moment that stood out was seeing multiple buildings reflected onto the surface of a single glass structure. That layering and distortion stayed with me. This abstract, textured painting captures that visual and emotional response—how the built environment can reflect, distort, and blend into something new.
It’s less about exact representation and more about the feeling of the place: dynamic, structured, and quietly reflective in its own way.
