Outer View is an abstract and colourful painting inspired by a day in Melbourne when I went for a walk and looked out at the city from a far distance. I was drawn to the feeling of being outside the city while still connected to it. Instead of painting the city realistically, I used abstract shapes and bright colours to express my emotions and the atmosphere of that moment. The layers and colours represent movement, light, and the energy of the city seen from afar. This artwork reflects how distance can change the way we see places, turning real views into personal impressions and feelings rather than exact images.
