LONELY IN COLOUR
Lonely In Colour" by Muge Aydin -shows a girl standing alone on a street full of bright colours, holding a red balloon. The scene is vivid and alive, but there’s a quiet sadness in her stillness. I used textured acrylic to build up the layers of the street—thick strokes and bold colours that almost feel like they’re moving. Behind the beauty, there’s a sense of something deeper: earthquakes, wars, silence. Things we don’t see, but can feel. The red balloon is a small, fragile symbol—maybe hope, maybe memory, maybe just something to hold on to. This painting is about feeling alone even when the world around you is loud and full. It’s about standing still when everything else is falling apart.
